Trees, Wreaths, Centerpieces, and Other Decor

All auction item information is due by October 31.

The Baby Fold’s Festival of Trees would not be possible without the incredible talents of our auction item donors. Whether you’re donating a tree, wreath, centerpiece, or other holiday décor item, follow these simple steps to design and donate an auction item:

1. Review the Manual: Familiarize yourself with the Auction Item Donor Manual to learn about requirements, important dates, and policies.
   • No Advertising Policy: Auction items cannot be used to promote a business, company logos cannot be used; consider sponsorship instead.
2. Sign Up: Tell us what you’re designing by completing the Designer Sign-Up Form before October 31.
   • Apply to Design a 7-Foot Tree (limited spots available): Submit an application if you’re interested in designing and donating a 7-foot tree. Skip this step if donating other items.
3. Purchase Your Item: Use this form to purchase a 4-foot tree ($75) or 7-foot tree ($185) from The Baby Fold or provide your own. Trees must meet the following criteria:
   • 4-foot Trees: Must be 4-4.5 ft tall. May be flocked.
   • 7-foot Trees (if application is approved): Must be 7-7.5 ft tall. May be flocked. Skinny trees not accepted.
4. Describe Your Item: Submit a description of your item for the silent auction system by October 31.
   • Late submissions will be held for next year's fundraiser.
   • Submit one form per action item you are donating.
5. Drop Off: Deliver your finished item on Designer Day (Tuesday, November 19th, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm) at the Interstate Center, 1106 Interstate Dr, Bloomington, IL 61705.
   • 4-foot and 7-foot trees can be decorated onsite during this time.

Gingerbread Creations

Gingerbread Village is a beloved area of the Festival of Trees, featuring nearly 100 houses and other adorable structures each year. These confectionary creations bring joy (and an inviting scent) to the fundraiser! Here’s how to design and donate a gingerbread creation:

1. Review the Manual: Familiarize yourself with the Auction Item Donor Manual to learn about requirements, important dates, and policies.
2. Sign Up: Tell us what you’re designing by completing the Gingerbread Village Sign-Up Form or mailing it in.
3. Drop Off: Bring your gingerbread creation to the Interstate Center on the designated drop-off day.
